Dear Sirs,

I remember the feeling of dread as the weekends approached. The staff, on the other hand, remember the shouts of “These !*%@ing drains!” as the toilets backed up once again. We then start the sifting through the yellow pages. We had all the top boys in the field in at one time or another, and we pretty much got away with it, by the skin of our teeth, apart from a real cowboy who managed to flood the entire bar. So, it was rapidly becoming a blockage, call, clear, pay me, relationship.

I didn’t know any better, and I was sinking into the acceptance that pretty much every weekend I’d be paying out large sums of money just to stay open. Then one desperate night we stumbled across Drain Doctor. For starters they arrived in no time at all, but then it was the usual explain what’s happened, take them to the same spot that it’s cleared from, watch them as they drive the plunger into the drain. And then hear the sound of rushing water as the drain clears. And that’s when it changed “you know why that’s happening don’t you?” I was asked, “No”, and what followed was a complete break down of the problem I was having and a solution. Well the deal was done, as soon as it was possible work started and was finished when promised, also, all of this achieved at a very good price.

But I’ll tell you what really annoys me, it’s the fact that all the other companies we had in had listened to me ranting and raving about what was I going to do and how can we sort this out, no one had anything to say. I don’t know, was I being taught a valuable lesson in being led up the garden path, or is it just a case of the majority of people in this trade are flying on a wing and a prayer. You decide.

All I know is that if I ever want advice or help in these areas I’ll only ever call Drain Doctor.

I have to confess that when you open the Yellow Pages, it is quite a daunting task especially when watching “the tradesmen from hell” series on television, it leaves you in a state of concern as to what is going to happen.

I feel I must record my thanks to your company, for a job well done. We recently had cause to have a new water main supply pipe and, unexpectedly, a new foul drain pipe fitted to the rear of our property.

It was quite a stressful contemplation, the sight of excavating ditches etc. However, I could not have wished for two better workmen, in the form of Mr Neil Payne and Mr Stephen Berry. They tackled the job with enthusiasm and displayed experienced skill levels which was a sight for sore eyes. Just to let you know that Chris Nelson is not only the most courteous man but the most brilliant expert in the field of drains etc.

We have experienced bad water supply for 4 years since taking on our property.

After umpteen visits from various service companies and no improvement I contacted your office yesterday and had a chat with Chris who subsequently arrived at 5.30pm and within minutes had diagnosed the problem, proceeded to rectify the problem and was out after an hour.

Yesterday, I had cause to telephone your office seeking assistance with a washing machine problem in an elderly relatives bungalow. Although it was not an emergency as such, it was quite a pressing problem. The person that I spoke to, was very polite and extremely helpful and promised to have a plumber call by 3.30pm that afternoon, and true to his word, a plumber, (Mr Crane), duly arrived at 3.20pm.

My wife and I, would just like to express our thanks to your staff for their response, but mainly to Mr Crane who was very friendly, helpful and above all very professional in his work. In no time at all, he had solved the problem, repaired the fault, cleaned up afterwards and presented us with what we thought was a very reasonable bill which we were more than happy to pay.
