After three and a half years of hard work, Jim Watson, franchise owner of Drain Doctor Newcastle & Sunderland, has been recognised for this and has received the Franchisee of the Year Award 2017!
This award is the most prestigious that a franchisee can receive as it is presented to the franchise owner that encompasses everything that Drain Doctor believes in and stands for. Jim Watson has shown time and time again that he is an ambassador for the brand and really lives by the values that Drain Doctor operate by.
Jim was surprised, delighted and exceptionally proud when he was presented with the award. He said it was completely unexpected but was so pleased that he had been thought of for the award. Jim has been through a tough journey during his time with Drain Doctor and he dedicated his award to his young son, who he said was the ‘why’ he got up in the morning.
He must be doing something right as he is leading his business to greater success every single day and in his three years has managed to almost quadruple his sales. He makes sure that his staff are trained to the highest standard and that they always provide the customer with a brilliant experience. All of his technicians always follow the 14 Steps of Drain Doctor to ensure the best customer service and workmanship for every single customer.
“It is a great day at Drain Doctor,” Jim commented. “It’s the little things that matter, and getting the right people on the team is one of the key things for us. We like to have people on our team that are passionate about customer service and the 14 steps. Once you have the right people on board, you can then concentrate on getting everyone involved and creating a fun and family atmosphere.”
