Types of Rainwater Harvesting System
We offer a variety of rainwater harvesting systems, installed by our team of professionals. Our engineers help private home and business owners to save, store and utilise rainwater.Basic rainwater systems
Rainwater harvesting systems include stands and groundwater butts with a capacity of up to 400 litres. At Drain Doctor, we provide rainwater tanks with a greater capacity, as well as freestanding and submersible water pumps.Aboveground rainwater systems
Aboveground rainwater harvesting systems are known for their ease of installation. Capacities vary from 800-litre plastic tanks all the way up to 100,000-litre steel tanks for commercial and industrial units. Commercial clients looking to reduce their environmental impact may consider including the maintenance of a rainwater harvesting installation in a PPM agreement.Underground rainwater systems
If space above ground is limited, an underground rainwater harvesting installation is an option. This solution does require more complex excavation work as a pump will be required to distribute the rainwater from the tank.
However, at Drain Doctor, we believe in getting the job done right, and if this is the best solution for you, then it’s what we will recommend. When it comes to drainage and rainwater systems, cutting corners can have serious implications.
